Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Essential Functions
* Reviews customer orders for feasibility and accuracy. Processes customer orders and issues work orders to manufacturing.
* Controls materials and parts inventory to assure items are on hand as needed by manufacturing.
* Responds to customer requests for information regarding order status.
* Prepares Invoices for outgoing shipments.
* Notifies customers of shipments if required by contract.
* Handles majority of communication between Customers, Cost Estimating and Manufacturing.
* Backs up Receptionist as needed.
* Backs up Shipping as needed, preparing Packing Slips and BOL’s.
* Assists with other office administrative duties as needed, to include but not limited to mail, scanning andfiling.
* Performs other duties that may be assigned.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Required Experience
* Ability to draft reports and correspondence.
* Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers and subcontractors.
* Ability to use computer software such as word processing and spreadsheets.
* Attention to detail and time management skills are essential.
Manufacturing Customer Service Representative Physical Demands and Work Environment
* This position requires you to be onsite daily.
* This position is primarily in an office environment.
* Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer.
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. +
* Ability to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct,and authentic while possessing professional presence.
