Job Summary
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This hands-on role is critical to ensuring minimal downtime and optimal equipment performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on machinery and facility systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Install new equipment and assist with equipment upgrades or modifications
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical school or certification preferred
- 3+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical and electrical systems
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with PLCs, welding, and fabrication a plus
- Must be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and a strong team player
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Stand, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods
- Work in varying temperatures and conditions
